Join Charlotte Wilmore and I for an evening hosting a screening of a social impact documentary in January 2018 ‘ Embrace‘, which explores the serious issue of negative body image.
Embrace tells the story of Taryn Brumfitt’s journey from body loather to body lover – an Australian wife and mother who embarks on an international crusade to change the way we think and feel about our bodies.
This powerful documentary examines why poor body image has become a global epidemic and what women everywhere can do to have a brighter future. We all feel passionately about this topic (even more so because we each have a daughter and want to set them a positive example of how to relate to our bodies …. which is easier said than done).
Please join us and buy a ticket for a friend who you think would benefit too. We don’t think it is suitable for children under 12 years, due to some of the themes raised.
You are able to watch the trailer here – https://bodyimagemovement.co
